Plan of action

In order for this to work I need a plan of action. Like I've already said. I need to start changing habits BEFORE I officially start the program. All of the successful weight loss stories that I've read started with small changes. I feel that if I keep eating like I have been and wait to start the program to change, I will fail. Changing everything all at once is just too overwhelming and honestly it is just too hard for me.

Another habit change that I've made is stocking up with healthy foods and preparing healthy things before hand. Preparation is key, especially with kids. I need to have healthy stuff ready to eat at all times because if I don't, I will reach for crap if I'm hungry. The Body for Life book as well as other books always say that healthy food must be ready to eat in order for any program to be successful. So true. Snacks must consist of nuts, fresh fruits and veggies, lowfat cheeses, protein bars or shakes. Meals must be premade..brown rice cooked and in the fridge at all times. Chicken or tuna ready at all times. Turkey meat ready for sandwiches at all times. Without these I will fail.
